About Lygia

Lygia Lais Rodrigues is a 39-year-old Brazilian journalist from São Paulo who has turned her passion for writing into a successful career in iGaming. Her journey in the industry began almost five years ago while living in Malta—where she spent seven years—first as a translator and soon after immersing herself in conference production.

Now back in her home country, Lygia leads one of the largest iGaming conferences in Latin America as the Head of Conferences at BiS SiGMA Americas. More than just organising events, she connects people, drives strategic discussions, and helps bring the most relevant topics in the industry to the forefront. With a broad market perspective and a strong network, she actively contributes to the industry’s development, promoting innovation and sustainable growth.
