Gain an in-depth understanding on the connection between problem gambling and suicide
This course will provide a deep understanding of the connection between problem gambling and suicide. Taoilered for customer-facing employees, this micro-module provides essential tools to support and advocate for safer gaming practices and positive mental health.
The duration of the course is approximately 15 minutes, with learning objectives being:
- Identify the link between mental health, problem gambling, and suicide
- Recognise common aggravating suicide factors associated with problem gambling, mental health problems and loneliness
- Learn what suicide ideation means and become aware of its three kinds: fleeting, passive and active
- Understand common myths and misconceptions around suicide to avoid labelling and stigmatisation
