Nevada-based casino major MGM Resorts International has named Ryan Abboushi as its new President of Entertainment. This comes as the company continues to enhance its leadership team and customer service through live entertainment.
Abboushi officially joined on Monday, 12 May 2025, into one of MGM Resorts’ most innovative and high-profile divisions. As entertainment programming and operations chief across the brand, Abboushi will be charged with directing entertainment programming and operations strategy throughout the brand, tasked with a definitive mandate to expand MGM’s global reach and maximise customer experiences within the live entertainment market.

The appointment was by Ari Kastrati, MGM Resorts’ Chief Content, Hospitality, and Development Officer.
“Ryan Abboushi is a seasoned veteran whose background in talent and entertainment brings immense value to our team,” Kastrati said in a press release. “His leadership will help us unlock new opportunities and further our mission of delivering best-in-class experiences.”
Abboushi joins MGM with over 16 years of experience at Creative Artists Agency (CAA), a top-tier talent and sports agency. During his tenure, he collaborated with a wide range of storytellers on projects spanning film, television, and special productions.

Abboushi will be entitled to a high-value portfolio of assets, including talent management, show bookings, and partnerships. He will be expected to contribute significantly to managing and utilising these assets to further strengthen MGM’s entertainment capacities.

The leadership change follows MGM’s overall brand, including BetMGM, remaining in the public eye. Most recently, BetMGM reported on a $609,198 jackpot win by a Michigan player who struck it rich playing the casino-exclusive game MGM Grand Millions. In another instace, a player converted a $1.76 wager into a $10,331.70 winning!
Abboushi is expected to tap into this growing excitement and integrate the entertainment division’s initiatives with the company’s broader customer engagement strategies.
